Three Arrested In Marion County Drug Bust

On March 21, The MARMET/METRICH Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Marion City Police Department and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, executed two search warrants in Marion County. The two locations are related to an investigation into the owner of Royal Dogs Hotdog Stand selling illegal drugs.

Just after 10:30 a.m., a search warrant was executed at 223 W. Columbia Street. There, detectives located Illya Green, Salena Glenn, and Kevin Swift. All three were arrested on drug related charges from the search warrant. Formal charges will be submitted to Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan’s office.

The second warrant was executed at 830 Kibby Dr apartment F at 12:15,p.m. Evidence of drug trafficking was located at this location as well.

MARMET seized, between the two search warrants, 150 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of heroin, 39 Oxycodone pills, 60 grams of marijuana, and $2000 in cash. The street value of the drugs seized is $18,500.

Chief Collins stated, “I relish in the fact they were able to arrest a major drug trafficker. MARMET continues to work hard to make Marion County a safer place to live”.

No other information will be released as the investigation is still pending
