Governor DeWine Seeks Emergency Funds For Ohio's Rain Drenched Farmland

Governor Mike DeWine is asking the U.S. Department of Agriculture for a disaster declaration to help Ohio farmers. The state is hit with record rainfall that has been devastating to farmers. Flooding and saturation is preventing the planting of crops. Only 50-percent of Ohio's corn crop and 32-percent of the soybean crop had been planted as of last Monday.
