Mansfield Man Who Hit State Trooper Head On Tested Positive For Meth

The Mansfield man, who allegedly drove the wrong way and struck a state trooper head on June 24th on I-71 in Morrow County, was under the influence of methamphetamine, according to RichlandSource.com . The Highway Patrol said 36 year old Michael Marchak, had presumptive levels of methamphetamine in his blood test. Both vehicles caught fire and both men were taken to the hospital. Trooper Jason Phillips remains in critical condition. Marchak's current condition is unknown.
