On Thursday (January 27), Dolly Parton went live on The Today Show to chat with Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager about her new Duncan Hines collaboration. The Today hosts asked the country music legend if the long-running rumors that she insured her breasts for millions of dollars were true. "It's not true," Parton confirmed. "Years ago, was it [actress] Betty Grable, or one of the great famous stars that was famous also for her legs? At that time, I said 'Well maybe I should get my boobs insured since I'm famous for them.' "
"It was just a joke. I didn't do that," she said, before joking: "By the way, you can get new boobs but you can't get new legs!"
