Some car dealerships in Ohio have literally gone to pot. Authorities there seized 400 pounds of marijuana, worth $1 million, stashed in new cars there.
About a week ago, police were notified when a "suspicious package" was discovered in the spare tire of a Ford Fusion.
Other blocks of grass were found in other cars at that dealership and in a nearby county five other Ford Fusions were discovered with hidden marijuana. In all, 400 pounds of dope were rounded up from 15 different cars at Ohio dealerships.
The cars were all made in Mexico and crossed the border in Arizona before making their way to Trumbull County.
Authorities aren't sure exactly when the drugs were stashed in the vehicles. Ford issued a statement denying it happened at its Mexican plant and said it was cooperating with customs and the FBI in their "extensive investigation." (NBC News)
