Nachos Replaced by a. MLB Player

During a Major League Baseball game at Busch Stadium in St. Louis between the Cardinals and Cubs, a pop fly went into the stands, creating quite a scene for both the player chasing it and the fan that was in his way.

In an attempt to catch the ball, Cubs shortstop Addison Russell dove headfirst into the stands. He was unable to make the catch, but he did come back onto the field with something else – a handful of nacho cheese.

Addison had managed to knock a container of chips and cheese out of the hands of a fan and onto the field of play.

The crowd booed because nobody likes to see a perfectly good plate of nachos wasted.

Give Addison credit, though. He made things right with the fan by returning between innings with a fresh plate of nachos and delivering them in person. After a thank you, a handshake and a selfie, all was forgiven.
