It’s been 45 days since the deadliest mass murder shooting in Las Vegas.
Jason Aldean offered his recollections of the deadly mass shooting in his first interview. When the bullets started to fly, Aldean was on stage performing at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. He mistook the rapid gunfire for stage hands failing to fix a blown sound system.
He recalled in a Today Show interview (quote) "When it first happened, I thought a speaker had blown. It sounded like crackling. And so, I’m looking around trying to figure out what it is. The gunfire lasted longer the second time. I got kind of aggravated and looked to the side of the stage, and I was like, ‘What is that? And fix it.’”
Seconds later, the stage was cleared and fans scattered. Aldean suspended his tour for nearly two weeks. (Us Weekly)
