’Tis the season … for kindness. On Friday, a Secret Santa known only as "Charlie K" walked into the Toys "R" Us in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and picked up the layaway tab on 62 orders, totaling $10,780.
Santa's helper also had everyone in the store pick out three toys for him to donate to Toys for Tots, totaling $2000. When asked why he was so generous, Charlie K explained, "I'm trying to bring some happiness to people, to the community that brought happiness to me and my family. I love this community and I am trying to provide back to it."
Charlie even admitted he wanted to pay for all of the layaway orders, but he didn’t have enough money to do it. He certainly helped a lot of people, and, hopefully, he inspired others to be kind to one another. Remember, an act of goodwill doesn’t have to be monetary to make a difference. (Newser)
