Five Nights on Campus is a performing arts series designed specifically for the residents of the regional service area of Ohio State Marion and is intended to complement the other entertainment opportunities available in the area. This series features a variety of performance styles from pre-war acoustic country blues music to a Billy Joel/Elton John tribute act, from WWII era female close harmony to barbershop, and closing the season a storytelling narrative. The mission of Five Nights on Campus is to provide exceptional and diverse cultural and educational opportunities and to encourage the community to be a part of campus life.

The SpYder Stompers and Sugar Pie cook up a tasty spread of foot stompin’ pre-war acoustic country blues for all occasions! The string band quartet members are vocalists and multiinstrumentalists who tag team leading tunes out of music genres which were popular during the first half of the 20th century. The band performs their own special blend of country blues and ragtime tunes showcasing early 20th century music.
