LaRue Oorang Bang

The exciting two-day street festival returns to downtown La Rue this year and offers a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy, including food trucks, craft vendors, live music, inflatables, a beer garden, historical displays, and family-friendly activities. In celebration of the Village of La Rue’s 175th anniversary and America 250, this year’s event will feature additional live entertainment, special activities for children, and historical exhibits displayed throughout village buildings. Friday’s festivities will feature a car show and parade, while Saturday begins with a pancake breakfast, followed by a 5K run, tractor show, duck race, cow plop drop, and much more. Saturday’s parade will also honor nine families who are descendants of the village’s original founding families.
