On Friday, the new stadium for the Atlanta Braves – SunTrust Park – opens, and to celebrate, a local brewery has created a new beer called the Chopsecutioner, and it’s made using actual baseball bat wood shavings.
The brewmaster explained that beer can be aged in bourbon barrels and wine barrels. So with that in mind, he ground up some baseball bats and let his beer extract flavor from the wood. (CBS Sports)
