Back in 2015, a brewery in Denmark partnered up with a music festival to collect the urine of the people in attendance in hopes of brewing some beer from the stuff.
Well, they pulled it off. A new beer made from pee has arrived.
The craft brewery Nørrebro Bryghus created 10,000 liters of a beer they call “Pisner” – and it’s supposedly rather tasty, with a citrus and pine-like aroma.
The brewmaster describes it as a “light, easy-to-drink summer beer that would go well with the festival season.” (Vice)
