The Marion County Local Hazard Mitigation Plan is currently being updated.So the Marion County EMA will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday, May 16, at the Marion County Building in the Prospect Room. The meeting will be held from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Attendees will have an opportunity to identify mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate disaster-related losses.These updates allow Marion County and the participating communities to remain eligible for pre-disaster and post-disaster mitigation grant programs.
