Crawford County's Jefferson Township Fire Department recently received a grain bin rescue tube and grain vacuum from Chris Schiefer, president of Chris Schiefer Insurance. Assistant Chief Ric Cochran told RichlandSource.com the donation of such grain-entrapment rescue equipment is a significant asset to the department's efforts in serving their agricultural community. The donation was made at the request of the Crawford County Farm Bureau, in cooperation with Nationwide Agribusiness.
