The 2019 WMRN Peanut Push was amazing! Once again, Marion supported the Jr. Service Guilds Christmas Clearinghouse in a big way!
Over $41,000 was collected to help 368 families, over 1,000 kids, have a wonderful Christmas. For the 50th year, the peanut Push served as the event where the money collected was turned in. Congratulations to King Daniel Bradshaw who raised $2,790.75, Queen Diane Morgan, who raised $825.00, Prince Nate Pollock from Benjamin Harrison School $860.00 and Princesses Finley and Berkley Payne's $2,360.00, a total of around $11,000.00 was raised through the Peanut Push event.
The Marion Area Harley Riders Association brought in $30,647 through their street collection campaign and their annual Toy Run! They're amazing angels to thousands of kids over the past several years.
The Peanut Push event was won by MAHRA representative Wes Davis. Second place was Marion Community Credit Union's Daniel Bradshaw and third place was won by Marion Mayor Scott Schertzer.
The McDaniel Automotive Toy Drive was also a huge success! Thank you for dropping off a new, unwrapped toy at the McDaniel Family of dealerships.
The Peanut Push is presented by The Door Guys, your residential, commercial and industrial garage door specialists.
