Former Marion County Judge Jason Warner and his wife Julia will get to stay out of prison for now. The Warner's were convicted in a June 2020 hit and run in Marion county. The Third District Court of Appeals earlier this week denied their appeal and ordered the two would have to serve their two-year sentence. On Thursday, the Ohio Supreme Court stepped in and granted a stay in that sentencing. They were supposed to report to the Marion County Sheriff's Office Friday morning by 8am, but now, they'll be allowed to remain out while the supreme court considers this latest appeal.
