Election 2022: Davis Wins Commissioner Seat & Marion City Fire Levy Passes!

Mike DeWine is projected to win reelection in the race for Ohio governor. DeWine receiving more than 62 percent of the vote, with over 90 percent of precincts reporting, ahead of former Dayton mayor Nan Whaley.Republican JD Vance is taking Ohio's open seat in the U.S. Senate. Vance pulled in roughly 53 percent of the vote by the time the race was called, defeating Democrat Congressman Tim Ryan.

Ohio voters are showing overwhelming support for amendments to the state constitution, enacting new rules for judges when setting bail and modifying voter eligibility. Both amendments garnered support from roughly 77 percent of voters.

In Marion County, Mark Davis was elected to be a County Commissioner and the Marion City Fires Department Levy passed by over a thousand votes. The River Valley Local Schools renewal levy went down to defeat. Tracy Richardson was reelected to the 86th House District.
