Miranda Lambert recently reflected on the first-ever concert she attended growing up in the Lone Star State, likely contributing to her passion for country music. Now an award-winning songstress, Lambert recalled going to a Garth Brooks show as a kid in Texas.
“I went to see Garth Brooks at Texas Stadium,” Lambert said in a brief clip she shared on TikTok on Tuesday afternoon (May 2). “(It was) night two, because he did three nights. I was 10 years old.”
Today, like Brooks, Lambert is also a powerhouse country artist, known for “Gunpowder & Lead,” “White Liar,” “Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Bluebird,” “Kerosene,” “Automatic,” “Little Red Wagon” and tons of other career-spanning hits. Her latest album, Palomino, released last year, chronicling a coast-to-coast journey through its track list. The project included “Actin’ Up,” “Tourist,” “Strange,” “If I Was A Cowboy” and other fan-favorites.
Lambert recently kicked off her series of book signings, a tour unlike any she’s done before, after the release of her lifestyle and recipe book, Y’all Eat Yet?, featuring “stories from my pretty b*tchin’ kitchen to yours.” Lambert previously said: “I was blessed to be raised by two generations of hell-raising, hard working women who knew how to make people feel good. This is a look into our lives and the food we’ve made along the way.”
