Ahead of Randy Travis Tour, James Dupré Met Travis In 2017 On Movie Set

James Dupré has had many incidents in his career where he's had millions of eyes on him. From capturing the attention of Ellen DeGeneres and getting a guest appearance on The Ellen Show to getting a 4-chair turn on NBC's The Voice, now Dupré is headed to do a tour unlike many others.

Dupré was handpicked by Randy and Mary Travis to be the voice delivering Randy Travis' 16 Number One career songs on a tour in the United States called The Music of Randy Travis tour. Ahead of this highly coveted tour, Dupré stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to give fans a teaser of what the tour may sound like. Dupré shared that he has some daunting pressure because he's stepping in to be the singer with Travis' longtime band and hopefully do justice to Travis' classic hits to his longtime fans. Travis' and Dupré actually met back in 2017 on the set of an independent movie.

Besides the craziness of tour hitting, Dupré is also about to be a father of five. His wife is about to have a baby he says "any day now," and Dupré has four kids from a previous marriage.

Dupré also performed some of Travis' songs "Diggin' Up Bones," "On The Other Hand," "Three Wooden Crosses," and "Forever And Ever, Amen," available on Bobby Bones Show's Instagram TV Channel here.
