Good news for Marion’s Lincoln Park stadium and ball field. It is expected that it will get a boost from the State. The State is expected to contribute four hundred thousand dollars for repairs to Lincoln Park. This is one of the projects included in a $2.62 billion State budget bill expected to pass in the Ohio legislature by the end of this month. There are plans to increase stadium seating to 2,000 seats and to include all new dugouts, locker rooms, concessions, restrooms and concourse.Also included in the bill is the Harding 20/20 project, and renovations to the Alber Student Center on the Marion Campus of the Ohio State University.
