Marion Man Apprehended After Short Pursuit

Shortly after 1:00pm Wednesday, Officer Matt Creps checked the license plate registration on a car in the area of Forest Lawn Blvd and Toulon Ave and found that the owner had felony warrants through Marion County Common Pleas Court and a suspended driver’s license. When he activated his lights and sirens to try to stop the car, the driver took off at a high rate of speed northbound on Forest Lawn Blvd. 

The vehicle found later abandoned nearby. The suspect Phillip M. Artressia Sr. of Marion, was located hiding in a yard in the area of Burgundy Dr. He was arrested without further incident.
