Even though he's been dead for more than 60 years,James Dean will be back in movie theaters next year -- thanks to the miracle of modern technology.
Directors Anton Ernst and Tati Golykh cut a deal with the late actor's estate to use his image in the Vietnam War-themedFinding Jack. They'll use photos and film outtakes to create what they call “a realistic version of James Dean" for the drama, which explores the story of thousands of military dogs abandoned and rescued after the war.
An as-yet-unnamed actor will voice Dean's character, since sound can't be replicated via CGI. (The Hollywood Reporter)
