Reba McEntire Matches Boyfriend Rex Linn In Stunning Black Suit

Reba McEntire arrived on the red carpet at the milestone 60th ACM Awards wearing a stunning black suit, coordinating with her boyfriend, actor Rex Linn.

McEntire and Linn celebrated five years of dating earlier this year. They met for the first time on the set of Kenny Rogers’ The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw in 1991. McEntire reconnected with Linn when they worked together on Young Sheldon in early 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic started. McEntire said on the Jennifer Hudson Show that they then “went down the street to a wine bar and they said, ‘well, I understand you’ve already had dinner, but we do have some good appetizers…we have tater tots.’” Since then, Linn decided McEntire’s nickname would be “tater tot,” and McEntire named him “sugar tot” in return. They’ve “been together ever since.”

The legendary country star is returning to host the ACMs for her 18th time, more than any other artist. McEntire took the stage twice throughout the evening, including a star-studded “Songs of the Decades” performance to kick off the show. Clint Black, Dan + Shay, Wynonna Judd  LeAnn Rimes and Sugarland will join McEntire during the performance to pay tribute to 60 years of ACM Songs of the Year. The 18-time show host will also deliver the world premiere performance of “Trailblazer,” a collaboration with Miranda Lambert and 2024 Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson.
